Waveform
The waveform represents all the Tracks of the album.
The curve clearly shows the compression of the dynamics compared to vinyls and Streaming. With a DR8, you can see the areas (yellow) where the signal is compressed. This is the case for all track. When listening, this compression limits the openness and finesse of the music.

Spectrum
The curve represents the average frequency distribution over the sample “Let Me Love You Like A Woman”. The curves of the Ed4 CD and the Ed5 Streaming are completely overlapping. We will find the same tonal balance.
The only difference is that the Ed4 CD version drops from 22 kHz while the Ed5 Streaming version drops above 24 kHz (Yellow area).

Spectrogram
Spectrogram is another representation of frequency versus time of a track. For each channel (right and left), horizontal axis represents time, and the vertical axis represents frequency. The amplitude is represented by the intensity (brightness) of the color of each point in the image.
The green arrow represents the normal collapse at 22 kHz (sampling frequency CD at 44.1 kHz) of the CD. The black part shows no signal above 22kHz.

Waveform
Like the CD, with a DR8, you can see the areas (yellow) where the signal is compressed. When listening, this compression limits the openness and finesse of the music.

Spectrum
The curve represents the average frequency distribution over the sample “Let Me Love You Like A Woman”. This track is in Hi-Res (24 bits 48 kHz), so the frequency limit is 24 kHz.

Spectrogram
Spectrogram is another representation of frequency versus time of a track. For each channel (right and left), horizontal axis represents time, and the vertical axis represents frequency. The amplitude is represented by the intensity (brightness) of the color of each point in the image.
The yellow arrow represents the normal collapse at 24 kHz (sampling frequency at 48 kHz) of the Streaming. The green arrow represents a limitation à 22 kHz for on track. The black part shows no signal above 22kHz ou 24 kHz (depend of the Tracks).
