Waveform
The waveform represents the Track “I Live In A Treehouse”, a representative track of the album.
The graph clearly shows the differences in levels and thus in dynamics for this track. You can clearly see the differences in volume and musical instruments impact. No compression of the waveform.

Spectrum
The Spectrum allows to check the tonal balance of the music (balance between treble, medium and bass sounds) and to detect process that may have been carried out during the recording, the mixing, mastering or manufacturing phases. It is also possible to detect frequency interference issues.
The curve represents the average frequency distribution over the Track “I Live In A Treehouse”. Interesting characteristics on this curve are:
- There is a progressive decrease in frequency above 15kHz with little pics (not present in Hi-Res file, certainly due to a different mastering for vinyl) (Yellow).
- There is one very small frequency peak above 30 kHz (Red) certainly due to a parasitic electronic equipment near the recording equipment or a defect in the processing chain. Here there is no reason to worry because the interference level is very very low (- 104 dB), without not other noise above 25 kHz.

Spectrogram
Spectrogram is another representation of frequency versus time of a track. For each channel (right and left), horizontal axis represents time, and the vertical axis represents frequency. The amplitude is represented by the intensity (brightness) of the color of each point in the image.
- The yellow arrows represent the progressive decrease in frequency above 15kHz (in Yellow in the previous graph), without noise above 25 kHz.
- The red arrows show the rise in noise level above 30 kHz (in red in the previous picture).

Waveform
The waveform represents the Track “I Live In A Treehouse”, a representative track of the album.
Like the Vinyl, the waveform clearly shows the differences in levels and thus in dynamics for this track.

The main characteristics of this curve is a collapse in the signal level after 22kHz (Yellow), normal for a CD.
The Ed3 Hi-Res File is a true 24/96 record. Before 22 Khz, the waveform is the same between Ed2 CD and Ed3 Hi-Res file. The mastering is similar between Hi-Res digital file and CD.

Spectrogram
Spectrogram is another representation of frequency versus time of a track. For each channel (right and left), horizontal axis represents time, and the vertical axis represents frequency. The amplitude is represented by the intensity (brightness) of the color of each point in the image.
- The yellow arrows show the the straight cut off at 22 kHz (in Yellow in the previous graph).
- There is a black band because there is not signal above 22kHz.
