Like the Ed4 CD 2019, the curve clearly shows the compression of the dynamics compared to Vinyl (Ed1) and Streaming (Ed3). With a DR8, you can see the areas (yellow) the track where the signal is compressed. The other tracks are less compressed.

The curve represents the average frequency distribution over the sample “Comfortably Numb”. Here the two curves are identical between the CD of 2019 and the CD of 2021.
