After being released on the deluxe edition but limited to a few tracks, the album is now available in a more exhaustive version with 13 tracks and especially a new mix.
This album has been released as part of the Disquaires Days en french, Record Store Day in english (see the new) which offers original and often unreleased vinyl editions.
Unlike other reviews, which compare the same mix of an album on different media with different mastering, for this Tears for Fears album, we will also compare the same concert but with different recordings and mixing.

We will review 3 editions (Vinyl , Digital mp3 files from vinyl’s code, CD4 and streaming Deluxe of “Song from The Big Chair”) of this album.
First we will analyze each edition in detail (technical and qualitative analysis) then we will compare the successive editions with their dynamics and assign a final score and you will be able to listen some samples.

Quite interesting, thank you! I assume the CD mastering is the same as the mp3s, comparing the DR values.
“Everybody Wants to Rule the World” on the old deluxe was in fact taken from an old vinyl release, and therefore never sounded particularly good. “Mothers Talk” might be a fairer comparison since that was a new mix already in 2014.
By the way, Disquaire Day is called Record Store Day in English – for those wondering.
