After the return of the vinyl records, we talk again about the cassette.
What is the quality of a cassette?
This is what we will find out by comparing the cassette with other media.
For this first test of a cassette, we will use a Nakamichi LX3.

The cassette will be played without Dolby B and with an adjustment of the azimuth to obtain the best result.
The first cassette tested is I Remember by Dianne Reeves.
It is a cassette from 1991 with XDR (Expanded Dynamic Range) which allows to get a DR12 for the album.
The cassette is recorded in Dolby HX Pro for a better dynamic and optimization of the treble level.
You can find the test of the Cassette here and the audio samples here.
